WHO WE ARE
We are specialised in plant nutrition and vegetable physiology.
We began in 2007 in Caldas da Raínha, in the Oeste region of Portugal where we are based. We supply factors of production and provide technical support to farmers throughout the country, always based on a differentiated prevention strategy: we act before the problems arise.
We work closely with our customers, assessing their real needs on the ground, case by case, recommending the best solution available on the market, in line with the specific nature of each situation, whether intrinsic or extrinsic to the activity.
We represent some of the top multinational brands and through the strong knowledge of our suppliers, their products and their technology, we are able to recommend the best techniques for both conventional and organic farming.

Working on soil nutrition in itself implies being aware of our surroundings. It’s a continuous learning curve, that we take pleasure from and share every day with our team and customers. The essence of it is in caring, case by case, because just like human beings, each plant is individual, each soil is individual and we must all contribute towards the health and welfare of “our home”, called Earth.
Luís Marques and Pedro Almeida head up NutriField. They received their training at Escola Superior Agrária de Castelo Branco. Luís is an Agricultural Science Engineer and Pedro is an Agricultural Technical Engineer. They have always been involved in agriculture, having worked for various companies and organisations. Their paths crossed in 2007 and since then, they have been jointly managing NutriField.
They have different but complementary profiles and constantly endeavour to find new solutions and technical innovations, believing that through proximity and by creating interpersonal relations, they can make a difference. Because when work involves the heart of nature, it always implies continuous, personalised care.
They believe that it is by working as a team that we all give our best every day.
